Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiThe third album of his untitled debut is nearly complete, Ky-mani definitely is a celebrity in his own right. On the 26th of February in 1976 Ky-mani was born to legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. In the sense of an East African man, his recordings and journeys are an adventure. His journey into music began in 1999 when he released The Journey. A multi-faceted vision, Ky-mani was looking for his own niche exploring the music spectrum, exploring his many skills. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Kymani's "traditional" reggae single. It brought out Kymani's maturation. Many More Roads, as in addition to The Journey The Journey, received a warm reception throughout the world and established Ky-Mani in her role of independently-minded "artist". Ky-Mani's music is a blend of roots reggae overlaid and hip-hop R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
